[Cs-club-l] Job Fair and Workshop Series

Here is some information regarding the upcoming career fair and associated workshops to better prepare yourself for entering the job world. Please take a few minutes to look at the dates and times to see if any of them fit into your schedule. Sorry this was not sent out last night.

All Majors Welcome!  Don't miss this opportunity to meet with over 50 employers seeking SSU applicants for part-time, full-time and summer jobs and internships.

Networking Like an Entrepreneur
Monday Feb. 13th 12:00-1:00 – Salazar Hall, Rm. 1061
Learn how to expand your network and advance your career while building real relationships.  Most people are afraid of networking either because they don't want to ask for help or they have visions of cocktail parties. Networking can be fun even for introverts and this workshop will show you how.

Interviewing Tips and Mock Interviews
Wednesday Feb. 15th 1:00-2:00 – Salazar Hall, Rm. 1061
Interviewing is a skill.  The more you practice, the better you will be able to interview.   Employers will provide tips on successful interviewing and how to create your "elevator pitch".  In addition, interested students will have an opportunity to practice their interviewing skills.
