[Cs-club-l] Meeting Notes 11/8/2011
Points from today's meeting.
A CS Club LAN Party is down for Friday, November 18 at 6PM - As usual, $5 for pizza and soda. We'll be tabling to promote this LAN party. If you catch us in Darwin Lobby, say hi. Come on over, play some games, eat some food, have a good time.
Designs for t-shirts are still being requested(demanded?). Bring your artistic visions to the next CS Club meeting. Feel free to bring it on paper or in digital form so that we can get that ball rolling.
A super-fun Lab Clean-Up day is scheduled for this coming Thursday, November 10 at 2PM. We're going to be swabbing down the peripherals for the fun and benefit of all.
Our next club meeting would be on the 22, but that's right before Thanksgiving break. The next club meeting will take place on the following Tuesday, November 29, as always, at noon.

[Cs-club-l] REMINDER Board Game Night, T-Shirts
Just here with a reminder that the club is hosting a board game night tomorrow (Friday, 11/4) afternoon/evening in the lobby on the first floor in Darwin Hall.
Be sure to bring some board games if you have anything you think we might have a good time playing. (I'm hopefully remembering to bring Scrabble this time).
There's also our regularly scheduled club meeting next Tuesday (11/8), where we'll hopefully be deciding on a club t-shirt design. If you have any artistic visions you wish to have us wear around campus, be sure to bring it to the meeting.
Hope to see you all on Friday/Tuesday.

CS Meeting Notes 2/8
Lan Party Feb. 26 6pm $5 Darwin basement
Board game & Movie night Mar. 4 4pm
Seawolf Day Mar. 19 8am - 3pm
MESA Day Mar. 26
Contact us if you want to help decorate the club bulletin board.
MESA is having an event on March 26. If you would like to volunteer, they are asking Computer Science club to be in the labs to just hang out during the hours. If you want to play games, I feel that is acceptable from reading the email. I will update as I know more.
We have a bulletin board in the Darwin basement. We are dangerously close to losing it to another club. We are asking for people to help decorate the board to show some events that we do and hopefully grab more people with the display. We have one person volunteer, but would like more.
There is going to be a lan party on the 26th of feb. You know the drill, $5 for pizza and soda. We are going to start an hour earlier, which would be at 6pm so when we eat pizza, it won't be cold.
We are going to table from 11:30 am - 1 pm. I believe it is going to start on Feb. 10th and will continue on at least til the next friday.
The club is going to experiment with combining the
movie night & board game night. It will be on the 1st friday of March, the 4th. It is going to start at 4pm with board games in the Darwin lobby and then after at 7pm, people will have the option of watching a movie. If you don't want to watch the movie, you can continue playing board games and if you only want to watch the movie, come at 7pm to Darwin 103 for the movie.
Its that time of the year again, Seawolf day is coming up on March 19th. I believe the hours are 8 am - 3 pm. We are looking for volunteers to man the labs to give tours and info and also people to table for the club to grab incoming freshman. We are going to create a shift schedule so people won't be stuck out in the sun all day or if you are only available during certain hours.
CS Club Secretary
